KōDō :: Chakra Soaps
KōDō (Way of Fragrance) is one of three classical Japanese arts of refinement.
Refinement, being a process of removing impurities or unwanted elements, cleansing, improvement or clarification.
KōDō Line of Angelica soaps are made with natural and biological high quality ingredients, locally sourced as much as possible, to restrict the impact of transport; made with love and care for flowers, plants, trees, animals and people. The soaps are made with oils and vegetable butters, no synthetic fragrances, foam improvers or preservatives are added. They are tested and certified.
I found the inspiration for creating this line of soaps in Chakra Healing with Essential oils from Timothy Miller. I was also inspired by my own research of aromatherapy, through studying about the power and influence of smell for our physical and emotional well-being.
The designs, ingredients and colours were used to strengthen the idea and also to fulfil my artistic needs, as I cannot forget that I am an artist.
